About Raisins

Iran’s unique four-season climate and its favorable soil are perfect for grapes and other agricultural products’ growth; they result in the production of most types of fruits including amazingly colorful seedless grapes.  

Raisins are dried grapes and are used in many confectionery industries as an ingredient. They  are nutritious dried fruits packed with high-energy, low-fat and  contain low-acids; 100 gr of fresh raisins contain about 71% carbohydrates, 5 gr of fibers and 1220 kJ of energy; they are also enriched with  B, C and D vitamins; Iron, Potassium and Calcium. The fiber in raisins helps in preventing colon cancer and it is very effective in controlling blood sugar.
